Congrats! New cars are so exciting! Thankfully, the pairing process is pretty straightforward. Here’s how to set up Bluetooth in your Volkswagen Jetta:
Turn your phone’s Bluetooth on and make sure it’s discoverable.
Turn on your Jetta.
Go to your phone’s Bluetooth menu and search for new devices.
Select your car’s name, which will usually be “VW BT” with the last four digits of your VIN.
A connect request will pop up on your infotainment screen. Select “Connect.”
This should reveal a PIN, which you’ll compare against the PIN shown on your phone screen. If they’re the same, press “Yes” on your Jetta’s screen.
Select “Pair” on your phone.
Voilà! For additional devices, just head to the “Setup” menu, select “Bluetooth,” then search for devices to find the one you’re looking for. Depending on your Jetta model, you can connect up to four phones to your car’s Bluetooth.
