Congratulations on your new purchase! Before making or receiving calls through your vehicle, you must pair your phone to Honda’s HandsFree Link. To setup Bluetooth in a
Navigate to your phone’s Bluetooth settings and ensure it’s in search or discoverable mode.
Select Yes.
The audio system will enter a waiting mode for pairing.
Select Honda Civic on your phone’s Bluetooth menu.
Select Search from your vehicle and follow the prompts.
When your phone appears on the Bluetooth list, select it.
The system will provide a pairing code on the audio/information screen—confirm if the pairing code on the screen matches the pairing code on your phone.
A notification will appear on the screen if the pairing is successful.
Here are a few tips to keep in mind when pairing your phone:
You cannot pair a phone while the vehicle is moving.
You can pair up to six phones.
Your phone’s battery may drain faster when connected to HandsFree Link.
If your phone is not ready for pairing or not found by your Honda within three minutes, the system will time out and return to the Bluetooth Settings screen.
