How do you reset the oil life on a 2007 Honda Accord?
Is it hard to reset the oil life on an Accord? The people at the shop didn’t reset the indicator for me, but I don’t want to go back if I don’t have to. I’d rather do it myself.

This is definitely something you can do yourself! To reset the oil life on a 2007 Honda Accord, just follow these steps:
- Turn your key to RUN, which is one setting before starting the engine.
- In the instrument cluster, find the SELECT/RESET knob. Press it to scroll through until you see the engine oil life indicator on the display.
- Hold down the SELECT/RESET knob for 10 seconds, or until the engine oil life indicator and the maintenance code both start to blink.
- Once the display starts blinking, release the SELECT/RESET knob.
- Then, press and hold the knob again for 5 seconds, or until the maintenance code disappears and the engine oil life returns to 100%.

visit a shop
