How do you reset the maintenance light on a 2018 Toyota Sienna?
Can you tell me how to reset the maintenance light in my 2018 Toyota Sienna? I think my wife somehow triggered it while doing some work on my car yesterday, and I’m not sure how to turn it off again.
With your car in park, turn your ignition to ON. This will turn on all the lights in your car, but it won’t start the engine. If your Sienna has a push-button start, press the button twice without depressing the brake.
Find the Settings menu using the navigation buttons on the right side of your steering wheel.
Select MAINTENANCE RESET by pressing the OK button.
When prompted, select YES to confirm your choice.
When you turn your car on, your oil light should be gone!
If the light stays on, there may be a problem with your car. Maybe your wife accidentally nudged the sensor out of place, or maybe there’s an entirely unrelated problem. Either way, it’s a good idea to check with a professional to make sure that your car is safe, especially if the light comes on again.
