I have a Kiddie carbon monoxide alarm in my house and it needs to be reset but I’m not sure how to do that. How do you reset a Kiddie carbon monoxide alarm?

Resetting a Kiddie carbon monoxide alarm is easy whether you need to reset the AC unit and battery or just the DC unit. Figure out what you need to reset and follow these quick steps:
To reset an AC unit and backup battery:
Use the circuit breaker to turn off the power to the smoke alarm and remove the alarm from the housing. Be sure to disconnect the power.
Remove the battery and hold down the test button for 15 seconds.
Connect the power and put the battery back in. You should hear one chirp which will confirm that the alarm has been reset.
To reset the DC unit:
Remove the battery.
Hold the test button for 15 seconds.
Put the battery back in and the alarm will chirp once to indicate that it has been properly reset.
If any issues with your alarm persist, be sure to contact Kiddie customer service and they will be able to assist you with more specific problems.
