How do you replace the side mirror on a 2016 Toyota Corolla?
My apartment has an incredibly narrow driveway, and I accidentally broke most of the passenger side mirror off my car while backing out. The new parts were delivered last night. How do I fix the side mirror on my Toyota Corolla?

Backing out of a tight driveway can be challenging, and mistakes happen! Fortunately, it’s easy to replace the side mirror on a 2016

.First, you’ll need to remove any remaining pieces of the old mirror by:
- Rolling down the window.
- Removing the upper trim panel located on the passenger door behind where the mirror is mounted. The panel is typically secured using a retaining screw or clips.
- Disconnecting the electrical connector and removing the mounting screws used to mount the mirror.
- Pulling the old pieces out of the door.
Once the old mirror has been completely removed, you can install the new mirror by:
- Lining up the new mirror where the old one was mounted to ensure it’s the right fit.
- Using the mounting screws to attach the new mirror, and being careful not to overtighten them.
- Reconnecting the electrical connector.
- Reinstalling the upper trim panel.
