First, pop your car’s hood. Make sure your car is parked and off, and the keys aren’t in it before making any fixes
Access your car’s headlight assembly. Your car’s owner’s manual should be able to point you in the right direction
Once you’ve located the headlight assembly, remove the two 10 mm bolts on top
From there, you should be able to lift open the lid to the assembly, revealing a clip and O ring beneath
Pull up the clip and the wires, in the direction of your driver’s seat
Behind the headlight, you’ll find a hex-headed fastener—you’ll need a hex headed wrench to remove it
At this point, you should be able to remove the headlight assembly entirely
Once the old assembly is out, you can install the new headlight assembly in the same way! Reattach the clips, wires, and bolts, and make sure to test your headlights before calling it a day.
