How do you replace a Honda key fob?
I’ve noticed that the key fob on my Honda Insight has been acting a bit dodgy lately. My mechanic says I just need to replace the battery, but I’m not so sure. How can I get a new Honda key fob?

But like your mechanic suggested, it’s worth trying to install a fresh battery before purchasing a new fob because they’re definitely not cheap.However, if you end up needing to replace your Honda key fob, you can purchase one through an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or a Honda dealership.
OEMs are usually cheaper, but you may still have to bring the key fob into a Honda dealership to program it.
