Since a Honda can only remember six devices, many owners need to pick and choose who deserves a spot on the paired devices list. Luckily, it’s easy to add and delete phones as you see fit. Follow these steps to remove a Bluetooth device from your 2016 Honda Civic:
Start by navigating to the home menu.
Press the Settings button and scroll to Phone Settings.
From there, select Device List.
Locate the phone in question from the list and select it.
A menu should pop up asking whether you’d like to delete it.
Select Delete this Device and press Yes in the following confirmation screen.
Once you complete those steps, your son’s phone should be off your Honda! But if you’re still having trouble removing it, reboot the display by holding down the audio button for 5 seconds and try again.
