How do you put the Acura in neutral with a dead battery?

Help! My Acura has a dead battery but I need to move it a bit to give it a jump start. How do I put it in neutral if I can’t start the car?

Here’s how to put your Acura in neutral with a dead battery:

Block the wheels from rolling, especially if you aren’t on level ground.

Locate the control shaft in the transmission (a very small knob).

Turn the knob counter-clockwise by about 30 degrees to put the car in neutral.

Once you’ve moved your car out a little, be sure to return the control shaft into its original position before starting your car.

Aside from learning to put your vehicle in neutral manually, you may also want to find a new
