How do you program a Dodge Ram key fob?

I just ordered a new key fob for my truck online, but I don’t want to pay the dealership for programming. Can you tell me how to program a Dodge Ram key fob myself?

You’re in luck! Programming a

key fob is a simple job that you can do in less than five minutes. Here’s what you need to do:

Sit in the driver’s seat, then lock the door using the key fob within ten seconds

Put your key in the ignition and turn it to the on while pressing the unlock button on your fob

With the key still in the ignition, press the unlock button and the panic button at the same time, then release them

Press unlock again Your fob should now be programmed! To check, get out of the vehicle, try locking it, and then unlock it with the fob. If you don’t get a response, the fob might just need a new battery! Many
