Insert the key and turn the ignition to the on position
Within five seconds, press the fob’s lock button for one second
Within three seconds, turn the ignition to the off position
Repeat steps one through three two more times, for a total of three cycles
After three cycles, leave the ignition switch in the on position (this will be the fourth turn of the key)
Within 15 seconds, press the lock button on the remote
Within three seconds, turn the ignition to the off position and exit programming mode
After the remote is programmed, the locks should make a clunking sound, as if they are locking. When you hear that sound, you know the key fob has been stored in your system’s memory.
