hood:- Find the hood release lever on the bottom-left side of the driver’s side. Pull this towards you to pop the hood.
- Walk around to the front of your car—the hood should be slightly ajar. Right above the front bumper’sDodgesymbol will be the safety catch. Slide your fingers beneath the hood until you feel the safety latch.
- Once you’ve found the latch, push it to the left and pull up to open the hood.
- Hold the hood open with one hand. Meanwhile, prop up the kickstand and insert it into the grooves along the hood’s outer rim to hold the hood open while you work.
