.The fuel door release button on the 2019 Charger is located in a different spot than most other vehicles: the driver’s side door to the upper left of the door pocket. Simply press the fuel door button to release the latch on the door. Once it’s released, locate the fuel door on the left side of the vehicle and open it using your hand.
If the fuel door isn’t opening after you’ve followed the above steps, don’t worry. This model is equipped with an emergency fuel cap release button! Open the trunk to find the button on the left side, remove the access cover, and press the button to open the fuel tank door.
Luckily, the Charger’s fuel tank capacity of 18.5 gallons maintains a long-running presence on the road, so you won’t need to refill on gas too often.
