How do you open the gas tank on a Chrysler Pacifica?
I just picked up my Chrysler Pacifica from the dealer and I need to fill up the tank. How do I open it? I can’t find a release lever.

Pacifica, push the center-rear edge of the fuel tank door (around the 3 o’clock position) and release it to open. There is no gas cap on the Pacifica—two flapper doors inside the pipe seal the system.Be sure to remove the nozzle when it clicks off. Overfilling the fuel tank by more than three clicks of a standard fill may result in:
- Vehicle performance issues (engine stalling, damage to the fuel system)
- Fuel spills
- Potential fuel fires
