How do you open the gas tank on a 2022 Kia K5?
Where is the lever to open the gas tank in a 2022 Kia K5? I haven’t been able to locate it and I’m scared my rental car will run out of gas before I figure it out!

, you’ll need to press lightly on the fuel door itself. There actually isn’t an interior release lever for this door; it has a spring mechanism that’s triggered by light pressure instead.This will only work if your vehicle is unlocked, however! If your car is locked, your fuel door will lock too. This protects your car from fuel siphoning, gas tank tampering, and other such issues.
If you run into any issues opening your gas tank in this manner, it’s best to consult a mechanic. The problem could be electrical in nature, since it may be that the lock on your fuel tank won’t unlock properly.
