My grandfather just came home from the hospital yesterday, and I’m out picking up his groceries and running other errands. He needs gas in his car, too, but I can’t figure out how to open the door to the gas tank. Can you tell me how to open a gas tank on a 2016 Nissan Sentra?

To open the gas tank on a 2016 Nissan Sentra, you’ll want to pull the gas tank lid release lever, which is located on the bottom left-hand side of the dashboard to the left of the steering column. (On the lever, you’ll see a gas pump icon.) This will pop open the door to the gas tank.
