How do you open the gas tank on a 2016 Ford Focus?
I just bought a used 2016 Ford Focus, but I’m a new driver and still need to learn some basics about car ownership. How do you open the gas tank on a 2016 Ford Focus?

Congratulations on your new car! The fuel door on the 2016 Ford Focus is located on the vehicle’s passenger side, directly under the rear headlight. To open it, all you have to do is gently push in on the small circular indent at the left side of the fuel door, then move your hand away and allow it to pop open.
Because the 2016 Ford Focus uses a capless fuel system, there’s no gas cap to unscrew once you open the fuel door. Just place the fuel pump in the hole behind your fuel door and fill your tank! When you’re done,
close the fuel door
again by pushing it in until you hear a click. Keep in mind that the fuel door on the 2016 Focus will not open while the car is running, so make sure your vehicle is in park and turned off before you try to open it.
