. Luckily, it’s pretty easy once you know how to do it. Here’s a step-by-step process on how to open the gas tank on a 2014 Hyundai Elantra:
Step one: Find the fuel door lever to the left of the driver’s seat near the base of the seat. Pull this lever up to release the fuel door.
Step two: Find the open fuel door on the left side of the vehicle, near the rear bumper.
Step three: Unscrew the gas cap exposed by the ajar fuel door to access the gas tank.
And that’s it! You’re ready to fuel up and hit the road. After filling your car with gas, ensure the gas cap is screwed back into place, and that the fuel door has been closed.
