.First, find the hood release lever on the bottom left side of the dashboard. Pull the lever towards you to release the latch.
Next, find the second latch release under the Subaru emblem on the hood. Pull the lever underneath the hood to the left.
Now you can lift up the hood and prop it open with the support rod.
