How do you open a Mercedes-Benz C 300 hood?
I bought my first Mercedes-Benz but can’t figure out how to pop the hood. How do I open the hood on a Mercedes-Benz C 300?

- Find the red hood release lever on the bottom left hand side of the dashboard. Pull the lever to unlock the hood
- Walk around to the front of the car; the hood should be slightly ajar
- Release the safety catch by sliding your fingers beneath the hood and pushing the latch up with your fingers
When you’re done working on the engine, gently close the hood and listen for the safety catch to click.
