How do you open a Mazda 6 key fob?
I think I need to change my Mazda 6 key fob battery, but it is more high-tech than other car keys I’ve had in the past, so I’m worried I’ll break it. Can you tell me how to open a Mazda 6 key fob?

For starters, flip your key fob over so the
Mazda
logo and buttons are facing down. On the back, you’ll see a small black release switch. Slide the release tab to the right and, at the same time, pull the metal bottom from the key fob to remove the physical key. With the physical key set aside and out the way, grab a flathead screwdriver and run it along the seam where the front panel of the key fob meets the back panel. Using a little bit of gentle pressure, the plastic back of the key fob should pop right off!
