Just grab a small flathead screwdriver and follow these steps:
Insert the flathead screwdriver into the space between the front and back part of the key fob near the key ring mount
Gently apply pressure to separate the key fob at the seam
Gently pry the battery out of its housing. At this point, you can read the battery to see what kind it is
If you want to replace your battery, at this point you would just install the new battery and then gently push the two parts of the key fob back together until they clicked.
