How do you make a car in Minecraft PE?

I’m loving the stuff I can make in Minecraft on my phone, but there’s just one thing missing from my doom fortress—a car! Is it possible? But I don’t know how to craft a car in Minecraft PE!

Yes! You can have a working car in Minecraft PE, it just might take some time to gather materials. In total, you’ll need 13 slime blocks, a sticky piston, a regular piston, an observer, and a redstone block.
You’ll also need to make some scaffolding (which you’ll destroy later) to raise the car at least one block in the air. Then follow these steps:
  • Place the sticky piston and add two slime blocks to the sticky part. Then add another slime block to the right side of the block you just placed and continue with a piston block and one last slime block. From a bird’s eye view, it will look as if you built a small rectangle of two by three blocks, with the pistons facing opposite directions and diagonal from each other.
  • Add an observer block face down onto the sticky piston. You might have to build and destroy some more scaffolding in order to place it right.
  • Now that you’ve finished the basic structure, you can add whatever you like around it. You could try a few more slime blocks and four black cement or clay blocks for wheels. If you’re ambitious, you could try to make something iconic, like the
    Fiat 124
. Make sure to add a “seat” behind the observer block (the front of the car).
  • Hop in and give it some gas by placing a redstone block on top of the piston block. The car will keep going until it collides with a block in the terrain. You can apply the brakes before then by destroying the redstone block.
