How do you lower the steering wheel in a Honda Civic from 2018?

I can’t figure out how to lower the steering wheel in my new Honda Civic from 2018. I just bought it and the wheel is a little too high for me, but I’m not sure how to change it.

Congratulations on the new car! Getting acclimated and adjusting the features is part of the new car experience. To lower the steering wheel in your 2018
Honda Civic
, you’ll need to use the lever under the wheel.
  • Sit in the driver’s seat and reach under the steering wheel to find the lever. It should be right where the wheel meets the steering column.
  • Push down on the lever. While maintaining pressure on the lever, you should be able to move the wheel down and adjust it until it’s comfortable.
Once the wheel is positioned to your liking, ensure the lever returns to its original position to keep it in place.
