Can you know if your car will pass its emissions test? I need to get my car tested before I can start driving it. It's older, so I'm worried it won't pass and I'll be without a car.

Here is an easy checklist to help you feel ready for your car’s emissions test:
- Make sure the check engine light is off
- Take your car on the freeway to clear out the catalytic converter
- Get an oil change
- Tune your engine
- Inflate your tires
- Check your fluids
- Clean the engine
While this list can seem overwhelming, most of these items are routine! You should already be getting regular oil changes and tires properly filled.
