How do you get a loaner car from a dealership?

My car needs to be in the shop for more than a day. My insurance recommended I drop it off at the dealership because it’s under warranty. Will they be able to give me a loaner car? I’ve still got stuff to do.

“Being without your car for more than a day can be frustrating. Thankfully, your dealership should give you a loaner car.
It’s common practice for dealerships to offer you a loaner car for no extra cost any time they’re working on your car for more than a couple of hours. You’ll just have to show them your
proof of insurance
.
Sometimes, smaller places will pick you up and drop you off, but dealerships often have a fleet of cars for situations like this. The loaner car shouldn’t cost you anything extra, especially since your car is
under warranty
