How do you get a hardship license in Alabama?
How can I get a driver's license in Alabama before I’m technically old enough? I want to be able to drive to school because I live really far away and sometimes my mom has to go to work too early to take us in.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to get a hardship license in
Alabama
as a 14 or 15-year-old. However, you can get a hardship license if your license was suspended. To get a hardship license under these circumstances, you must:- Be able to prove hardship OR have documentation of enrollment in or completion of an Alabama Department of Corrections program.
- Submit your application and any other necessary documents via email tohardship.license@alea.gov, via fax at 334-353-9988, or by mail.
If you prefer to submit your documents via mail, send your application to:

PO Box 1471
Montgomery, AL 36102.
