How do you fix an LED brake light?
My new car looks awesome and has a strip of LED lights for the tail and brake lights. I really love it, but I just noticed that the strip went out. I don’t want to get a ticket, so I need to fix it as soon as possible. How can I fix an LED brake light?

LED brake lights are becoming the standard on new cars since they last much longer and are significantly brighter.
To fix an LED brake light, you’ll either need to replace the strip or replace the entire brake light unit.
Since your car is brand new, you should first check with your dealership. You may have a new car
warranty
that covers defective parts. Additionally, there could be a recall on your vehicle. Either way, the dealership would replace your brake light at no charge.If you take your vehicle to the dealership or repair shop, you can also see whether you’ll need a completely new unit or if you can replace the light strip. From there, you can decide what your comfort level is.
That said, you should only try to fix the unit or replace the light strip if you feel comfortable with electrical work. LEDs, especially on new cars, are often more advanced than an aftermarket LED bulb on an older car.
