How do you fix an AUX port in a car?
I have an older car, so unfortunately, the only way I can listen to music is through an AUX cord. While it’s usually fine, it recently stopped working. I need to fix it ASAP, because I hate driving in silence. What can I do to fix an AUX port in a car?

or audio specialist, there are a few things you can do to try and fix an AUX port in your car: - To start, you’ll need to check whether the springs are attached. Sometimes the springs detach from the circuit board or the port, causing it to stop working.
- To access the springs, you’ll need to remove the stereo and unscrew the bottom to open the back.
- Once you get it open, you can try to tilt or adjust the springs to get the connection working again.
However, if that doesn’t work, you’ll likely need to replace the entire port, which a mechanic or audio specialist can do fairly easily.
