You can fix a sagging headliner in a car without removing it by using one of the following:
  • Special adhesive
  • Steam cleaner
  • Pins
Over time, the headliner can get damp or overheat. Then, the glue dissolves and the headliner sags away from the frame.
To fix it, there are three main methods:
  • Glue: Use a special adhesive for headliners, applying it evenly.
  • Pins: You can use sequin pins or clear-headed twist pins. Push them through to the foam backing.
  • Steam cleaner: A steam cleaner can melt the glue, allowing you to reattach the sagging fabric. A paint roller can help affix the fabric evenly.
