to ensure there is nothing seriously wrong with your vehicle! If a mechanic says your car is okay, then there are a couple of things you can try.To fix a gas cap check engine light, try the following:
- Open and close the gas cap again to reset the sensor.
- Turn your car off and on again.
- Use an OBD sensor (on-board diagnostic tool) to erase the code.
One of these three should fix the gas cap check engine light; it’s a fairly easy and cheap fix!
