How do you find out when your car warranty expires?

My insurance said if my car is still under warranty, repairs will be covered. I honestly don’t remember. Where can I find out if my car warranty has expired?

“Finding out if your warranty has expired is pretty easy if you can remember the date of purchase and know your car’s mileage.
Your car’s owner manual will often state how long the warranty lasts. This is usually determined by mileage or time. In most situations, it’s three years to five years or 36,000 to 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.
If you can’t remember when you got your car, you’ll need your VIN (vehicle identification number). You can use this to find your purchase date. Any dealership that sells the type of car you have can look up your VIN to see when you purchased your car.
Hopefully, if your car warranty has expired, your
car insurance company
will still cover the repairs. Once you find out whether you have a warranty, an agent at your insurance company can give you more information.
If you need to submit a claim with your insurance, consider shopping around once it’s settled. Car insurance claims can often impact your rate and using the
