How do you deauthorize a Bluetooth device in a Mercedes?

My little brother and I ride to school together, and his phone always connects via Bluetooth instead of mine. I want to reclaim control of what music we listen to; can you tell me how to deauthorize a Bluetooth device in a Mercedes?

Here’s how to deauthorize a Bluetooth devices in a
Mercedes
:
  • Navigate to “Telephone” on your infotainment home screen
  • From there, select “Bluetooth,” and look at the list of phones that are already paired with your Mercedes
  • Scroll to the phone you’d like to delete, and navigate to the three vertical bar icon (looks kind of like a hamburger)
  • Once you click that icon, you’ll see a menu with a couple of options, one of which is “Deauthorize.”
  • Choose “Deauthorize,” then select “Yes.”
After you select “Yes,” your little brother’s phone will no longer be paired with your Mercedes—and control of the music is once again yours!
