The exact steps to take to connect your mobile device to your
Ford
’s Bluetooth can vary depending on your vehicle’s age, model year, and trim level. But in most cases, the process is relatively simple, and involves simply navigating to your vehicle’s settings to pair your phone to the Ford’s Bluetooth system.
Here’s a general overview of the steps to take:
  • Make sure Bluetooth is on in both your phone and vehicle settings
  • Navigate to your vehicle’s settings and select an option titled “Phone” then “Add Phone”
  • Choose Ford’s SYNC or Bluetooth system from your mobile device’s Bluetooth menu (depending on your car, you may have to enter or confirm a unique PIN to complete pairing)
  • Wait for pairing to complete
Your vehicle’s infotainment screen will display a confirmation message when Bluetooth pairing has finished. Of course, those steps may be a little different depending on your vehicle—but generally speaking, that’s all it takes to connect your phone, start streaming music, and enjoy the many benefits that Bluetooth offers!
Your Ford’s owner’s manual should provide you with more specific steps based on your model and trim—and you can also use it to learn more about your Ford’s other tech features and SYNC system!
