I recently bought a GMC Yukon and would like to pair my smartphone to the vehicle, but I’m having trouble figuring out the process—how do you connect Bluetooth to a GMC Yukon?
Press the “Audio” button on the main infotainment display screen.
Select “Bluetooth” from the audio home page.
Press “Add Device” in the Bluetooth settings. It will give you a set of instructions and a PIN that you’ll need to verify on your phone.
Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings and make sure that Bluetooth is turned on. Select “Your Vehicle” from the list of available devices. Confirm that the PIN matches the one on the infotainment screen and follow any other prompts.
If you own an older model GMC Yukon, you can use the following instructions to connect to Bluetooth:
Turn the vehicle on and put it in “Park.”
Press the push-to-talk button and hold it down for two seconds.
Say “Bluetooth” and then say “pair.” The system will then provide a set of instructions and a four-digit PIN that will be used later.
Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings and make sure that Bluetooth is turned on. Select “Your Vehicle” from the list of available devices. Follow the prompts and enter the four-digit PIN.
The system will ask you to provide a name for the phone, after which you’ll need to confirm the name.
As long as you follow these instructions—and the instructions on the multimedia display—carefully, you should have no trouble connecting via Bluetooth to your GMC Yukon.
