How do you connect Bluetooth to a 2015 Chevy Silverado?

. To connect Bluetooth to a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado
, use your radio head unit that’s part of your entertainment console. Follow these steps for the MyLink Radio IO5 touchscreen using voice recognition and radio controls.
Before getting started, ensure Bluetooth is activated on your smartphone.
Using voice recognition system:
- Press the “Push to Talk” button on your steering wheel controls, wait for the beep, and say, “Pair Phone.”
- Look for the vehicle on your phone’s Bluetooth menu and select it.
- Your phone will ask you to enter a four-digit PIN displayed on the radio screen or confirm a six-digit code.
- Accept Bluetooth connection.
- The phone is now paired.
- The system responds with “Device Name has been successfully paired” after the complete pairing process.
Using radio controls:
- Press the HOME button.
- Select the PHONE screen icon.
- If your device hasn’t been paired, you can skip this step. If your device has been paired, scroll and select MANAGE PHONES.
- Press the button just below the PAIR screen button.
- On the phone, look for your Silverado and select it.
- Your phone will ask you to enter a four-digit PIN displayed on the radio screen or confirm a six-digit code.
- Accept Bluetooth connection.
Once you’ve completed these steps, your phone is paired and will display your screen with the phone name.
