How do you clean a Toyota engine?
I recently got a Toyota Land Cruiser and it's great for off-roading, but I’m worried that my engine is suffering from the constant mud and dirt. Is there any way I can clean the engine?

Toyota
Land Cruiser’s, you’ll need to collect a few key supplies:- A non-corrosive cleaner such as Simple Green
- A non-metal brush
- A clean towel
- A garden hose
- Garbage bags
- Tape
Once you’ve gathered all these items, you can follow these steps to clean your engine. But before you begin, make sure you’re taking the proper safety precautions. Make sure that your engine is cool to the touch and disconnect your car battery.
- Open your hoodand completely cover all components surrounding the engine using your garbage bags and tape.
- Spray your cleaner over the surface of your engine and let it sit for about five minutes.
- Work the cleaner in with your brush.
- Use your hose to rinse away dirt and grime.
- Remove the garbage bags and take care not to spill water on the components that were previously protected.
- Use a clean towel to wipe the engine dry.
