To charge the battery, all you need is a regular 110-volt electrical outlet and about three hours.
Your boyfriend should have the charging cable that came with the vehicle. All you’d need to do is:
Plug the round part in the socket under the driver’s mirror.
Take the other end of the cable and plug it into an outlet
And you’re officially charging a Prius battery!
