Changing the battery in a

key fob can feel daunting if you don’t know where to start, but luckily, it just requires a few simple steps.- Slide the latch that releases the key from your fob and remove the key
- Use a flathead screwdriver or the key itself to gently pry open the fob
- From there, you can remove the button panel and circuit board to access the battery, which you can slide out
- Insert your new battery and reassemble the Jeep key fob
