How do you change lanes while driving?
I have an upcoming driving test. I feel pretty good aside from changing lanes. I can’t quite get it down. I asked my high school driver’s ed teacher for tips but he wasn’t exactly helpful. What’s the best way to change lanes while driving?

- Put your turn signal on in the direction you wish to go.
- Check your rearview mirror to assess oncoming traffic.
- Check your side mirrors to see who’s next to you.
- Look in your blind spots.
- Turn the wheel slowly to move laterally into the next lane.
- Straighten out to ensure you’re within the lane lines.
- Flip off your turn signal.
