Does the Toyota Rav4 2018 work best as a gas car or as a hybrid? Gas prices are so high right now and I was already considering a Rav4, but now I’m thinking about getting a hybrid.

- The hybrid gets better fuel economy. With a hybrid car, you won’t need to pay nearly as much for gas since you’ll be using electric power.
- The gas-powered car is cheaper. While you might save on fuel with a hybrid, the starting price is also higher. The gas-powered 2018 Rav4 has an MSRP of $25,500, while the hybrid version has an MSRP of $30,000.
- The hybrid is more reliable. The 2018 Rav4 hybrid has better reliability ratings than the gas-powered Rav4, although both are rated fairly well in terms of maintenance costs.
In short, the hybrid is the better option if you’re okay with paying more for your car upfront and saving on maintenance and fuel costs over time.
