How do I write a NOC request letter for a driving license?
I’m on a work visa overseas and am looking to get a driver’s license in the country I now live in. How do I write a NOC request letter so I can be issued a foreign driver’s license?

We hope you’re enjoying life abroad! A NOC, or, No Objection Certificate is required by some countries to authorize a person to carry out a certain action. A NOC request letter for a driving license should include the following information:
The sender’s details this will include your full name, current address, and contact number
Date you sign the letter
The receiver’s information put down the full name and address of the person or company to whom you are requesting the NOC
Subject of the letter just as if you were writing an email
Formal greeting if you are unsure exactly whom you’re addressing, you can simply use “Dear Sir or Madam”
The body of the letter should be succinct—clearly state the reason why you are requesting the NOC letter in a few single-spaced sentences. Make sure you give your letter a proofread before printing it out and signing it. Don’t forget to keep a copy for your personal records.
