I’m having issues with the Bluetooth on my BMW. After doing some research, I learned that I may need to update the software, but I’m not sure how to do it. What do I do to update the BMW Bluetooth software?

BMW models that are a few years old usually automatically update the Bluetooth software themselves, so you may have another type of issue with your phone or the Bluetooth system. However, you can update BMW Bluetooth software manually by going to the BMW website and using a USB stick. Here’s how to do it:
Enter your 17-digit vehicle identification number (VIN). You can find this on the VIN on the door jamb, the driver’s side of the windshield, or on your car title.
Download the Bluetooth software updates onto a USB stick.
Insert the USB stick into the port in your BMW that’s typically located in the center console.
Using the screen interface, go to settings.
Next, scroll down and go to software update.
Select update software, wait until it’s finished, and you’re done!
