How do I turn on Subaru’s 2021 Eyesight technology?
I have a 2021 Subaru Outback and understand that my car is equipped with a special technology called Eyesight, but I don’t know how to turn it on. How do I activate Subaru’s 2021 Eyesight technology?

Subaru’s Eyesight Driver Assist Technology was designed to help drivers feel more confident behind the wheel by monitoring traffic conditions, warning of hazards, and monitoring cruise control. So how do you set it up?
- Turn on your car and place your gear shift in Park
- Find the Multi-Function Control Buttons located on the left of your steering wheel
- Use the buttons to access the LCD and toggle the display until you see “Pull and hold ‘i/SET’ Switch For Menu’
- Pull and hold the i/SET switch from the Multi-Function Control Buttons to reach the Settings menu
- Toggle the Up/Down buttons on the Settings menu to find the Eyesight switch
- Hold the i/SET switch and select Warning Volume on the menu
- Adjust the Eyesight alert settings to one of three options: Min, Mid, or Max
- Pull and hold the i/SET switch to set the alert volume of your choice
