How do I turn off traction control on my 2020 Nissan Altima?

The traction control in my car was really helpful throughout the winter when I was driving on icy roads, but now that it’s summer, I find the feature unnecessary. How do I turn off traction control on my 2020 Nissan Altima?

Traction control can be a gamechanger in slippery road conditions, keeping your car from sliding or hydroplaning. However, if you’re rarely in situations where your vehicle is going to lose traction, you have the option of disengaging the feature.
On the 2020
Nissan Altima
, the traction control button is to the left of the steering wheel. The button has a small icon of a vehicle with two squiggly lines underneath, and the word OFF is written on the bottom.
When you press the traction control button, the feature will turn off. Likewise, if you want to turn the feature back on, you can do so with a push of the button.
While traction control features can keep you from sliding on the road, other drivers are unpredictable. To make sure you’re protected from accidents, download the insurance expert app
