How do I transfer a Toyota warranty?
I’m trying to sell my car to a friend. However, I want to make sure that I can transfer the warranty without any issues. I’ve never done it before. How can I transfer a Toyota warranty to a new owner?

To transfer a Toyota warranty to a new owner, gather your vehicle identification number (VIN) and the vehicle service agreement number. Then, call your local Toyota dealership or the dealership where you purchased the vehicle.
If you don’t have the vehicle service agreement, you can usually call the dealer to get that information. So don’t panic if you don’t have it.
Transferring a Toyota warranty is 100% free. You may want to remind your friend that they can also transfer the warranty to another owner down the road if need be.
