Window tint film of your choice of darkness percentage (5%, 30%, or 50%)
Step 1: Use the utility knife to cut the tint film roughly the same size as your tail lights, allowing excess material around the edge.
Step 2: Take your spray bottle and spray the tail light
. Step 3: Take off the protective layer on the adhesive side of the tint. Try to move quickly during the step because dust can get stuck on the adhesive layer.
Step 4: Apply the tint film on the wet surface of the tail light.
Step 5: Use your squeegee to push out the air bubbles and water. Begin at the center of the tint film and gradually work towards the edges to flatten the tint film.
Step 6: Use your hair dryer or heat gun to seal the edges into places. Be mindful not to apply too much heat as it can cause the material to wrinkle.
Step 7: Cut the extra film around the edge of the tint. Use a squeegee or a credit card to make the edges flat.
After that, step back and admire your tint modification!
