How do I smoke in a car without the smell?

Smoking in my car helps me pass the time during my commute and relieves stress from idiotic motorists. However, I just got a new car and I don’t want the interior to stink. How can I smoke in the car without leaving the smell behind?

Although smoking may seem like a great way to alleviate boredom and stress, it will always leave a smell in your car. If you can avoid lighting up in your vehicle, you can preserve that new car smell and retain the
retail value of your vehicle
for much longer.
But if you’d still like to smoke, you can use these tips to minimize the lingering smell:
  • Switch over to an electronic cigarette—at least in your car.
  • Clean your trim and upholstery once a week.
  • Fill a cup with cinnamon and citrus fruits to alleviate the smell.
  • Put a small bowl of coffee grounds under the seat to soak up the odor.
  • Leave your recirculated air button off to stop the smoke from getting into your AC or heating system.
  • Air your car out regularly.
