How do I reset the tire pressure check system on a 2006 Lexus GS300?
I was driving some English friends to watch the USA vs England soccer match, but they were so worried about their squad potentially losing that the ride was very tense. When my tire pressure light lit up on my dashboard, I thought one girl was going to pass out. We made it there safely, but to avoid any future problems, how do I reset the tire pressure check system on a 2006 Lexus GS300?

, you can reset the tire pressure system by ensuring your tires are filled to their recommended levels and then driving for 15 minutes at 35 miles per hour or higher.That said, we here at Jerry do understand how a group of English soccer hooligans could put you in an uncomfortable spot—if the above solution doesn’t work, try a hard reset.
For the hard reset, turn the car off, and then turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine. Then, press the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) button, located under the steering wheel and near the kick panel, for 5 to 10 seconds, or until the TPMS light blinks. Then, start your vehicle and drive for 15 minutes at 35 miles per hour or more, and the tire pressure light should go out.
If you reset the TPMS in your Lexus, congratulations. If you managed to do so with your soccer-crazed British pals in the car? That’s a minor miracle. Enjoy!
